Coldplay’s concert in Kuala Lumpur this past Wednesday, 22 November, attracted a wide audience of fans from across Malaysia and the world. And while many fans and youngsters showed up to celebrate the band’s performance, one special duo stole our hearts right before the concert even began.
In a TikTok posted by concert goer Tamara Asyura to her account @ssushicatttt, Tamara caught a moment of a married couple taking a selfie just before the live performance, as the stadium started filling with people.
Holding his phone up in a horizontal position, the husband of the duo asked his wife to smile before snapping the photo, to keep as a memory from their time at the concert.
Receiving tonnes of love online by strangers, many commented on how sweet the couple was to go to a concert that would likely have included a lot of youngsters.
“Parents like this must be the type who are nice and easy to talk to, they are fully relaxed going to concerts, don’t like sitting quietly, and enjoy their own interests,” wrote one user.
Other users made light-heartedly comments about the aunty and uncle being able to land tickets for the concert, while a lot of other people in their 20s and 30s were not able to secure anything.
“I wonder how this uncle was able to get tickets when I was in line for three hours, but in reality, the tickets were already sold out!” jested another user.
Nevertheless, one user stated that since Coldplay has been actively producing hits since the 1990s, it is no surprise that there are a lot of people from the older generation who attended the concert.
In a delightful twist, a friend of the aunty and uncle’s daughter came across the clip and shared the TikTok video with duo.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Tamara said that the couple appreciated the video, and that it is a precious moment they will keep with them moving forward.
