Hair today is more than just part of a beauty routine. It is part of every outfit check, mirror selfie and last-minute touch-up before stepping into the day feeling your best. In today’s social-first world, where girls express themselves through creativity, style and everyday moments, hair has become part of their identity – from soft curls and sleek ponytails to effortless hijab-friendly styles.

But between Malaysia’s heat, humidity and long days on the go, keeping hair smooth, fresh-smelling and comfortable all day can sometimes feel impossible – especially for hijabi girls. To meet the evolving hair needs of young girls today, Sunsilk is stepping into a bold new era with the launch of its Super Serums, alongside the refreshed shampoo and conditioner range.

Marking a bold new chapter for the brand, the new Sunsilk introduces a complete haircare regime designed to turn everyday haircare into a more effortless and enjoyable experience for today’s generation, helping girls achieve smooth, healthy-looking hair.

The new Sunsilk Silky Smooth Super Serum, powered by 10% Amino-Silk Complex, instantly smooths frizz and tangled strands with a lightweight texture that leaves hair feeling smooth without the sticky or oily feel. Designed for girls constantly on the move, including hijabi consumers looking for hair that stays fresh and comfortable, the leave-on serum delivers up to 100 hours of silky smoothness and 72 hours of long-lasting fragrance.

Paired with the refreshed Sunsilk Smooth & Manageable shampoo and conditioner, the complete routine helps leave hair feeling soft, smooth and healthy-looking. Featuring upgraded formulas, elevated fragrances and bold new packaging, the range brings a more playful and expressive energy to everyday haircare.

Complementing the Super Serum range are two additional variants created for different styling needs and hair moments. The Style & Heat Protect Super Serum features 10% Peptide-Repair Complex to strengthen damaged strands while protecting hair from heat up to 220°C, making it ideal for frequent styling. Meanwhile, the Diamond Shine Super Serum, infused with 10% Glycol-Shine Complex, helps boost hydration retention for shinier, glossier-looking hair.

“Hair plays such an important role in how girls show up confidently, explore different styles and feel like the best version of themselves,” shared Ms Farhana Mohd Nasir, Director of Marketing and Customer Strategy & Planning, Unilever Malaysia. “With this new chapter for Sunsilk, we wanted to introduce a bolder, more playful and expressive side of the brand that connects with young girls today and the way they experience their hair.”
