A few days ago, at 3:30am on Friday (February 2), 30-year-old Melaka-based businessman and social media influencer, Boss Mario, was discovered to have gone missing as he didn’t return home.

His staff took to his official Facebook page to announce his disappearance and asked the general public to look out for him.

Thankfully, yesterday (February 4), they shared that Boss Mario was discovered at a hospital after he checked himself in to be admitted after going missing in action for about 72 hours.

“Alhamdulillah, Boss Mario has been found safe and sound, thank you to everyone who helped and cooperated in this case. Boss Mario is currently being treated and needs to rest as his body is weak. We hope that everyone who sees this can pray for Boss Mario’s health to be restored and to be able to be with his staff again,” they wrote.

While everyone is glad to see the influencer’s safe return, one question remained. Where did he disappear to?

It turns out that Boss Mario went to hide out in an abandoned property as he felt stressed about paying his 22 staff members of his 2 mobile phone stores their bonuses.

According to a report by Guang Ming Daily, the pressure of not being able to provide his team with their bonuses led Boss Mario to flee to the abandoned, empty house in Klebang, Melaka, to find peace and quiet.

Thankfully, he did not sustain any serious injuries and is back in the arms of his family members.
