Just last week, 22-year-old Chia Min Yong was reported missing after informing her mother that she was off to JB to look for a new job. As of today, her whereabouts remain unknown.

Since her disappearance, people have been sharing her news all over social media, in hopes that she will return safely. The news had also reached the attention of Singaporean actor, Wang Lei, who expressed his heartbreak over the incident.

“I have a daughter too and if she goes missing, I can’t sleep and I will cry too,” he said.

But that’s not all. In a live video yesterday (10 April), Wang Lei made a generous offer to anyone who has any information on the missing young lady.

“If you know where Min Yong is, I’ll give you RM100,000! Just tell me where she is and when I see her, I’ll give you the money!”

He then said if Min Yong fails to find a job, he will provide her with one by becoming his assistant in Singapore. He said, “If I go to France, then you’ll come with me. Wherever I do my live videos, you just come along.”

However, if Singapore is proven too far for Min Yong, Wang Lei said that he has a company in Penang where she can work in the customer service department, which should help the financial burden.

In the 3-minute video, Wang Lei did not rule out the possibility of Min Yong being a victim of a kidnapping and he also made an offer to the “possible” kidnappers.

“If she is in your hands, I’ll give you RM150,000! I assure you, I don’t know her and her family. As long as you let her go, RM15,000 is yours!” Wang Lei reiterated.

He then continued by saying if the amount is too little, he is willing to negotiate. You can listen to the clip below.

Last week, after packing her stuff, including her passport, Min Yong left the house and told her mom via text to not contact her. The immigration department shows no record of her leaving the country and her vehicle was found by police in Setapak.

We truly hope Min Yong is safe and if you have any information, do reach out to the family at 0163501393 (Lucas) or 0126388570 (Minnie).
