Dad’s are generally our knights in shining armour. Yes, they can be very strict but most of the time, they will go the extra mile to fulfil our requests, for the sake of our happiness.

Recently, a Malaysian dad shared a funny story about his boy who wanted to play with his kite at 3am in the morning. The dad, Asy Syakirin posted on the ‘Anak Sepahkan Apa Hari Ini‘ Facebook page explaining that his son would usually want to eat some rice at midnight but this time it was different because he requested to play with his kite. He wrote,

“Bambam is doing it again. It is already normal for you to request to eat fried rice at midnight but tonight its a bit different. You can’t sleep so you wake me up to play with the kite! It’s ok. Let’s do this. I will figure something out!”

The dad decided to pray first as it is encouraged for Muslims to pray at night. Upon finishing, he got the idea to attach the kite to a table fan. It’s not like the real thing but considering the circumstances with the MCO going on and well, it was the middle of the night, so this was probably the best solution! Kudos to the dad for doing his best to entertain his son, especially when the whole country is being asked to stay at home. Salute!
