The Covid-19 virus spread is becoming so deadly that it has taken it’s youngest life so far.

A six-week-old baby in the Connecticut, United States has officially become the youngest person to die of the coronavirus. Connecticut Governor, Ned Lamont confirmed that the infant was “brought unresponsive to a hospital late last week and could not be revived”, as according to The Star.

“Testing confirmed last night, that the newborn was Covid-19 positive. This is absolutely heartbreaking. We believe this is one of the youngest lives lost anywhere due to complications relating to Covid-19,” he added.

The virus that has caused over 4,476 deaths in the US is believed to be more dangerous to the elderly, though there appears to be increasing for of younger patients. Just last week, Illinois authorities investigated the death of a nine-month-old child that tested positive for the coronavirus.

Hence, it’s important that all of us stay home and stay as clean and safe as possible while practicing social distancing, not only to protect ourselves but also our family and friends, including the little kids who are too young to think for themselves.

With everyone’s cooperation, we can beat this.
