Another Covid-19 case has popped up, this time in Shah Alam.

As according to Bernama, the Selangor State Development Corportation (PKNS) said that a Covid-19 positive case was detected at the Kristal Heights Apartment in Section 7 on Monday, 19 October.

“This has been confirmed by the Ministry of Health. The results of the first screening of all close contacts of the patient have come back negative and they are now undergoing self-quarantine for 14 days at their respective homes,” they wrote.

The management of the Kristal Heights Apartment has since closed all common facilities including the multipurpose hall, playground, gymnasium and swimming pool until further notice.

PKNS advises residents to remain calm and adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set in place such wearing face masks properly when in public places and maintaining physical distancing. They added that the sanitation operation of the common areas, including its lifts and emergency staircases will be carried out today (22 October).
