Among the many dangers of Malaysian roads are people who attempt to scam road users by pretending to be hit by their vehicles.

But, if you see someone in a situation with these scammers, what would you do?

Netizen, Tazz (@tzliana_11), took to her Instagram account to showcase how a cyclist had helped her after a random man decided to jump into her car hood and accuse her of hitting him at Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur. The cyclist can be seen on the left side of the road observing the situation before stepping in.

She wrote, “So this is what happened to me yesterday (July 18). Some guy jumped into my car and accused me of hitting him. Thankfully, there was someone who came to help.”

Initially, many others on the road merely drove past her without offering their assistance in what could have been a dangerous situation.

“But I am still disappointed, many cars passed by there without stopping or at least honk once to scare the man. Alhamdulillah, I locked all the doors (I always have to endure this type of stupidity) and after this, I’ll be more careful when I drive alone,” she explained.

Though, Tazz was still thankful of the cyclist who had stopped and gone out of his way to drag the man off of her car and to the side of the road, so that she can drive away safely.

“Who knows this Indian guy? Please tag him, I didn’t even get a chance to say thank you.”

She has also since made a police report in regards to the scammer who jumped into her car.

What would you have done if you were in her shoes?
