We’ll be the first to admit that festive seasons are not always for everyone, and while some choose to not celebrate or partake in special celebrations, others will just bolt in the other direction as quickly as they can.
And who is to say that this only applies to humans? A recent TikTok has showed that even animals may have issues getting comfortable during the festive season.
In a clip posted by user @onage19, her dog Bruno seemed to make a dash for the exit upon seeing a holly jolly individual dressed up as Santa Claus. Bruno, who was standing at the outdoor compound of a house, sees the Santa Claus impersonator walking down the street.
Upon the man passing his home, Bruno doesn’t hesitate to jump through a fence located at the front of his house. Getting half his body through, the precious doggo turns around to ensure that the bearded man did not come into the house. Deciding to go through with his plan, Bruno lifts his legs and gets himself through the gate and away from Santa.
Shifting her camera view for a split second to the gate, the video poster moves her angle back to the compound only for Bruno to have disappeared without a trace.
Capturing hearts across the platform, many commenters sent well wishes to Bruno, while some encouraged him to run for his life.
“Bruno, why are you scared? Santa Claus just wants to give you a present,” jested one user.
Another user even mentioned how Bruno had the instinct to look around while inserting himself through the fence, eventually deciding to make a run for it.
