Police Searching for Driver of Toyota Alphard That Crashed Into Three Parked Cars in Melaka

Police are currently searching for the driver of a Toyota Alphard who lost control of the vehicle and crashed into three parked cars along Jalan Merdeka in Melaka Raya on Friday, 13 August.

The incident, which occurred at approximately 10:48 am, was captured on CCTV and has been actively circulating on social media.

In the video, the Toyota Alphard can be seen speeding from the direction of Banda Hilir towards Hotel Hatten before veering to the left side of the street and crashing into three cars parked along the roadside.

The three vehicles, a Lexus, Honda City, and Perodua Myvi—were all unoccupied at the time of impact and sustained damage in the crash.

 

The driver of the Alphard has yet to come forward to file a police report or assist with the investigation.

According to Sinar Harian, Melaka Police Chief Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar confirmed the incident, which is being investigated under Regulation 10 LN 166/59, concerning loss of control and collision with parked vehicles.
