A gambling group consisting of six Indonesian men and women have been arrested after they were caught using obscene videos of girls to entice other gamblers to increase their bets. The bigger the bet, the larger the scale of the video.

In addition to purchasing professional filming equipment, the group also hired foreign girls, made them wear skimpy clothes and made them use sex toys to be shown in the videos.

According to Oriental Daily, interested gamblers only need to place a bet of RM100 to join a social media group where they can access videos of these girls. If they continue to bet more money until it reaches a specified amount, they will be able to watch larger-scale videos.

Acting on information, the Kuala Lumpur Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies Division (D7) raided an apartment in Bukit Jalil at about 7.30pm on 9 June and busted the call centre of the gambling syndicate.

The six men and women were arrested and their tactics for luring local and Indonesian gamblers were exposed.

It was reported that the men and women involved were recruited online to become members of the gambling group where they could earn a salary of RM1,500 to RM2,000 a month, according to China Press.

Meanwhile, all equipment was seized and taken back to the police station for further investigation.
