JUST IN: BERSATU has decided to leave the Pakatan Harapan coalition, its president, Muhyiddin Yassin said in a statement today.

In an official Facebook post, the Minister of Home Affairs said that “all party members of BERSATU have exited Pakatan Harapan.”

“All of them have signed an oath to continue to support and trust Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as the Prime Minister of Malaysia.”

“This decision is made by taking into account the current political developments and the future of the country.”

Just an hour ago, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad resigned as Prime Minister after handing in his resignation letter to the King.
