About a year ago, Ustaz Ebit Lew was called out for allegedly getting an Indonesian influencer, Mondy Tatto, to fake being homeless for his social media content. Months after, Mondy had then gone on a podcast to accuse the preacher of sexual assault.

Following this, Mondy, along with 9 other women, were interviewed to assist with the investigations into the preacher’s alleged rape cases.

According to a report by Harian Metro, it now appears that the investigations may be completed as Ebit Lew’s lawyer, Datuk Akberdin Abdul Kader has shared that the police has informed him that no prosecutions will be made against Ebit Lew. Though, this is only in regards to the Mondy Tatto’s allegations that the preacher had raped her.

“The police completed the investigation of Mondy’s recent rape allegation against Ebit after a police report was made by Mondy in September 2023. (It was the) Deputy Public Prosecutor’s decision not to proceed with the prosecution because there is no case,”

“So, Ebit Lew will not be accused because there is no case and case items such as mobile phones and SIM cards were returned yesterday,” he said.

This case has apparently been labeled ‘NFA’, No Further Action.

Mondy’s allegations had apparently seriously tarnished the preacher’s reputation.

“The defamation suit case against Mondy continues in the Shah Alam Court and is now at the compensation assessment stage, the court will give an amount on July 1,” he added.
