RUDE! DISGUSTING! DISRESPECTFUL!

There are no other words to better describe this man.

It was 12.50 am on 15th October 2019, and a 20-year-old university student was on a bus trip from Kemaman to her university in Kelantan when she was suddenly groped and molested by a 28-year-old Myanmar refugee sitting next to her.

Imagine sitting in a cramped and dimly lighted bus next to a pervert for at least one hour on a highway. Kenot brain la what sort of trauma she must have been through.

According to Harian Metro, the Officer-In-Charge of the Dungun Police District, Superintendent Baharudin Abdullah said that the express bus was on the East Coast Highway 2 (LPT2), around Bukit Besi, Dungun, when the student was attacked by the man, who possessed a United Nation Refugee Agency (UNHCR) card.

The lustful man reportedly groped her waist and body.

“When the suspect tried to slide his hand into the victim’s shirt, the victim pushed his hands before waking up another passenger and requesting a seat exchange.”

She called her father and reported everything to him. Later, she let her father talk to the bus driver.

Fortunately, the driver was super understanding, and he immediately ordered the suspect to change his seat.

“The driver then took the victim to Bukit Besi Police station to lodge a report.”

The suspect was apprehended for further investigation under Penal Code Section 354 for assaulting and outraging a person’s modesty.

Men and women alike should never be the objects of sexual exploits without their consent. Hope the girl won’t get too traumatised by this.
