So as Muslims worldwide celebrate the month of fasting, we take this time to think about our Muslim frontliners in Malaysia.

On top of refraining from food and drinks, many Muslim frontliners still need to go to work everyday to save the world, amidst the heat and being uncomfortably stuck in a PPE suit.

A user on Facebook, who is also a frontliner, viral-ed a few pictures of her many frontliner friends, who had to sit down for a bit whilst working, from just being too tired.

The user noted that the quarantine station near KLCC where she was at, had to register throngs and throngs of students from 20 buses, which carried Malaysians returning from Egypt. There were around 400 students.

The entire process was long, needed loads of attention to detail and it was tiring, especially for these Muslim frontliners. They all started out well in the day, but as soon as afternoon came, one by one began to fall.

She noted that many of her colleagues herself included (from the Malaysia Civil Defence Force), were so drained from working for hours and hours non-stop, that they had felt weak, shivers, nausea and even, faintness.

It’s sad, yet inspiring, that they have to go through so much. Let us express our hearty gratitude to each and every one of them, for what they’re doing and for pushing themselves beyond all limit to attain a better tomorrow, especially during this trying month.
