Attention, all motorists!

If you have any unsettled summonses, then you should grab this opportunity to clear off all your debts this month because there is a huge discount! No, this is not an April Fool’s joke.

Why? Because the Road Transport Department (JPJ) is offering a 70 per cent discount on all summonses and compounds issued by the department for the whole month of April in conjunction with its 72nd anniversary celebrations. Wah big discount lai liao.

Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Ab Aziz Kaprawi announced the discounts on April 2 after launching the JPJ Day national celebrations at the Batu Pahat Mall, The Star reported. The decision was made after a discussion with JPJ director-general Datuk Shaharuddin Kalid.

To obtain this generous discount, all road users will have to head over to their nearest JPJ counters to obtain their discounts starting from April 2.

However, do take note that the discount does not apply to fines issued through the Automated Awareness Safety System (Awas). Oh snap.

So, if you have any pending bills, now is pretty much the best time to get them settled before this great offer is over. Plus, you can save yourself from burning a hole in your wallet!
