A married Malaysian woman managed to keep a secret for one long year before it came to light.

She was discovered to have two husbands after secretly marrying another man from Johor in Songkhla, Thailand.

A Malaysian man was shocked to discover that he had been ‘sharing’ his wife with another man

The first husband’s sister exposed the situation in a now-viral Facebook post, including the marriage registration paper in Songkhla, dated 5 November 2024.

The first husband found the marriage registration paper inside his wife’s car, and was shocked to learn that he had been ‘sharing’ his wife with another man for over a year.

According to Ekin, the sister-in-law who spilt the tea, the married woman was smart in hiding her tracks. During the day, she would spend time with her Johorean husband at his rented house, before returning home to her first husband, who is a Kelantanese, at night.

The rented house was just 19 km away from her Kelantanese husband’s residence.

The wife lodged a police report against her sister-in-law

In her post, Ekin also claimed that the wife had lodged a report against her for allegedly disturbing her. Despite being caught with the wedding registration paper, Ekin said the woman continued to disturb her family, and that her brother had not returned to the family after his wife refused to leave him.

The situation has been ongoing for more than a week, and Ekin is still awaiting action from the relevant religious authorities.
