M’sian Wears Dino Suit To Get Vaccinated In Kuching, Puts A Smile On Everyone’s Face

Getting your vaccination appointment and going for the jab is definitely a very big event these days seeing as we’re not allowed to go outside our houses.

Celebrating his vaccination appointment, a Malaysian man by the name of Kenny Sia donned a dinosaur suit at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) vaccination centre.

Went through the entire vaccination process in dino suit

Kenny took a video of his vaccination process while he was still in his dinosaur suit and when the video was uploaded, it went viral.

 

Remember to wear protection when going to a large vaccination area.

The staff at the vaccination centre were certainly entertained and frankly speaking, they loved it so much that they decided to post a step-by-step guide to vaccination at their facility using Kenny’s pictures.

“Thank you Kenny Sia for bringing a smile to everyone’s face on your vaccination day!”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Kenny said that he did not specifically buy the dinosaur suit just for this purpose but rather he bought it way back so that he could pretend to be a dinosaur while playing with his child.

Cheer up frontliners

Other than that, he said he wore the suit as it covers his whole body. Another reason is that he wanted to cheer up the frontliners in the vaccination centre.

“Partly it’s to entertain the frontliners. They vaccinate probably 5,000 people a day so I’m sure something unusual like this would lift their spirits up a bit.”

As a word of advice, Kenny asked others to not “wear something as cumbersome as this” to their vaccination appointments.

“I went there towards the end of the day so maybe it’s still okay. But I’m wary of holding up the line.”

On a more serious note, Kenny, a gym business owner, hopes that we will be able to get back to our normal life as soon as possible.

“I have had zero income for 3 months already. The sooner everyone gets vaccinated, the sooner businesses like mine can re-open, so we can pay rent and pay the staff.”
