M’sian Woman Goes on Rampage at Gombak Health Clinic, Sent to Hospital Bahagia for Assessment

A local woman, who is in her 20s and acted aggressively while at a health clinic in Gombak yesterday (19 November), was charged at the Selayang Magistrate’s Court this morning (20 November).

According to a report by Kosmo!, the Gombak District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir, shared that the incident started when the suspect went to the clinic with her child to seek treatment before suddenly going berserk.

“The suspect uttered abusive words to civil servants and other patients. She also acted aggressively by spitting and standing on a waiting chair while cursing at the staff and the public at the location,” he said.

Following the incident, a clinic staff member filed a police report at the Gombak Police Station.

“The suspect was later arrested on the same day, and an investigation was conducted under Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955.”

She has since been ordered to be sent to Hospital Bahagia in Perak, while the case mention date has been set for 19 December (Friday).

A video of the woman’s rampage has since gone viral online, as it showcases her screaming before the police detained her and dragged her out of the health clinic.
