A video has been gaining attention online after a driver attempted to make a U-turn in front of a house, believed to be located along Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR), Alor Setar, Kedah, on 6 September.
The incident was captured on the driver’s dashcam, with the driver claiming that the homeowner spat on his car while he was making the U-turn.

Driver gets reprimanded for making U-turn in front of home
In the video, the driver can be seen turning left into a residential area before deciding to make a U-turn.
As he reached the front of the homeowner’s house, the driver slowly began making the U-turn. The homeowner then came out through the front gate and stood outside.
Later in the video, the driver acknowledged the homeowner, but was reprimanded in response. The driver simply explained that he was just using a little bit of the space in front of the house to make the U-turn, but the homeowner still appeared visibly unhappy with what he had done.

“I built this big house, not for you”
In the caption, the driver claimed that during the altercation, the homeowner questioned why he didn’t simply make the U-turn further down the road.
“Does the Jalan TAR road outside someone’s house actually belong to them? I was just using the space in front of their house to make a U-turn, but the owner spat on my car. The owner said, ‘Why didn’t you just turn further ahead? Is petrol really that expensive? I built this big house, not for you.’
“No matter how successful or wealthy we become, we will all eventually end up in the grave,” the post read.
