There is nothing quite like the heartwarming feeling of seeing your child’s hard work pay off, especially when their pure, unfiltered joy brings them to tears!
In a wholesome video uploaded to Threads (@hafizdagata) Malaysian father Hafiz captured a precious family moment when his young son, Hifzi, came running home from school to proudly show off his exam results.

“So excited to show the results. ‘What do you want to eat, big boy? Sushi?’ Hifzi: I want Mamak ayam madu,”) Hafiz wrote in his initial post.
From 50% to a perfect score of 100%
In the heartwarming video, Hifzi can be seen jumping for joy beside his father’s motorbike, clutching his exam papers tightly.
As his father flipped through the papers and read out scores of 80 and 88, Hifzi excitedly urged him to check the last one.
The moment his father announced a perfect score of 100%, the young boy could barely contain his excitement. He jumped up and down before wiping away tears of joy.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Hafiz shared how much his son had improved academically.
“He was so happy! You can see how excited he was. During the midterm exams, he scored around 50% for Fiqh. This time, he managed to get a perfect 100%,” Hafiz told WORLD OF BUZZ.
When asked what reward he wanted for his outstanding achievement, the young boy knew exactly what he wanted: Mamak ayam madu!

He credits wife’s ‘lion mode’ study sessions for son’s 100% score
While Hifzi deserves plenty of praise for his hard work, Hafiz was quick to credit the person who played a major role in his son’s academic improvement: his wife, whom the children affectionately call Mama.
Hafiz also shared with WORLD OF BUZZ that his wife works full-time as an autism therapist, a demanding yet meaningful job that involves caring for children with autism.
Despite her busy schedule, she remains deeply involved in her children’s education, making sure they keep up with their studies at home.
“Working with autistic children all day can be challenging, so when Hifzi’s final results came out, she was the happiest person.
“She’s the one who always looks after our kids’ education. She’s like a lion every night teaching them,” he added.

Because both mother and son put in so much effort every single night, the family decided that a single celebration just wouldn’t cut it!
In a follow-up post, Hafiz shared photos of Hifzi happily enjoying his coveted ayam madu at the Mamak stall, followed by a delicious sushi feast alongside his proud mother.
“Update: Hifzi got his ayam madu, and his Mama got her sushi, because Mama went into ‘lion mode’ during study sessions!” Hafiz joked online.
