They say, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. Well, we think that these foreigners may have gotten that memo wrong.

Netizen, @mamal_midwall, took to his TikTok page to showcase 2 foreign men standing at a traffic light along with vehicles on the road, waiting for the light to turn green.

It turns out that they actually just wanted to cross the road, but for some reason, they must have thought that waiting at the traffic light with cars and motorcycles were how it’s done in Malaysia.

He wrote, “Do these Bangladeshi men think that they are cars?”

This incident took place in Batu Pahat, Johor.

In the video, the 2 foreign men could be seen standing at the very front of the traffic light.

Just as their light turned green, they started crossing the road as the cars and motorcycles started moving too.

Thankfully, all the vehicles managed to avoid them and they managed to cross to the other side of the road safely.

We genuinely hope that no one follows suit as it is obviously safer to use pedestrian bridges and zebra crossings.
