The recent flood tragedy that hit the country was a real eye-opener for us Malaysians.

Through the toughest of moments, Malaysians – regardless of race and religion – had come together hand in hand to take care of each other’s welfare, proving that the hashtag #KitaJagaKita and #RakyatJagaRakyat is indeed accurate.

Recently, a video of Malaysians helping to clean a mosque in Klang that was affected by the flood went viral on TikTok.

TikToker @rejean0810 shared the video that has touched the hearts of many as the video garnered over 589k views, 71.2k likes and 6900 comments, all of which netizens commented how moved they were by the volunteers’ efforts.

Many netizens took to the comment section to express their gratitude towards the unity that has been shown by every race.
