The past weekend has been one hell of a ride for many of us Malaysians. Without a doubt, the floods that happened are devastating as many lost their homes, cars, belongings… and the struggle still continues.

Among the many pictures and videos that circulated social media of the terrible floods were videos of animals (particularly reptiles) being spotted around housing areas due to the high rise of water.

Some spotted snakes while some spotted huge monitor lizards trying to make their way to dry land.

There were also videos of crocodiles swimming in the flood.

Some spotted Koi fish (probably from someone’s pond)  and even turtles swimming inside and outside their homes.
