Mother’s Day was just around the corner and while many of us wondered high and low on what to get for our mothers, one kid in Thailand knew exactly what he wanted to get his mother as a present and has determinedly saved for it.

And he’s finally succeeded.

Netizen, zumo4422, took to her TikTok page to showcase the little boy, who used Thai Baht coins that he had saved up to buy a gold ring for his mother.

She wrote, “This boy saved money in a small safe to buy gold for his mother. He said he saw on TikTok that this store accepts coins, so he invited his mother to come here. Amazing.”

In the video, the little boy opened up his safe to reveal a ton of coins in small plastic sacks. The gold store staff then showcased their wares to the boy as he picked out a gold ring for his mother to try on.

After the ring was weighed, the little boy then happily put the ring on his mother’s finger, much to her delight.

According to a report by Thaiger, the primary school student is quite the entrepreneur as he had worked hard to sell ‘kanom pang ping’, a Thai toasted bread snack, in order to earn and save the money spent on the ring.
