As the world learns to adapt with the pandemic, it appears that China is currently going through a massive outbreak.

As a preemptive measure taken by the Malaysian government, the Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) has just announced that all travelers who are visiting Malaysia would have to go through a mandatory temperature check.

Other than that, visitors who are found to have visited China 14 days prior to entering Malaysia would also have to go through a mandatory RTK test.

According to Health Minister Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, she said that, “Those who are in close contact with visitors who traveled to China and are exhibiting Influenza and Covid like symptoms would also have to get tested for Covid.”

Here’s a reminder for all travelers to stay safe and be careful. If you find yourself to be exhibiting Covid like symptoms, please seek professional help or get tested to ensure safety for the people around you.

Stay tuned for more updates.
