JUST IN: FMCO Extended For Another 2 Weeks From 15 June To 28 June
Defence Minister, Ismail Sabri has announced the extension of FMCO for an additional two weeks, starting 15 June till 28 June 2021.
Just two weeks ago, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that the National Security Council had decided to announce a full lockdown consisting of the closure of the economic and social sectors across the country for 14 days starting 1 June 2021 until 14 June 2021.
“This decision has been made after taking into account the number of daily cases that have been on a constant rise, amounting to more than 5,000 cases a day with a daily average of 6,871 cases as of yesterday, ” Ismail Sabri said in the press statement.
“The positive and negative lists and SOPs for each manufacturing activity, business and industry will remain the same as previously announced.”
