A couple’s plan to dine out in Johor Bahru went haywire after they encountered a driver of a Singapore-registered vehicle who turned aggressive.

In a viral Facebook post by the Malaysian woman, she was out with her boyfriend yesterday (June 7), and he drove into a congested area where they encountered a driver who stopped suddenly in front of them. The couple and other drivers behind them then honked at the vehicle.

Until the Singaporean driver behind the couple lost his patience and descended from his car to approach the woman’s boyfriend.

“Can’t you see there’s a car in front of me? I’ve honked at him,” the man told the Singaporean driver, who did not believe him.

The Singaporean driver then told the man,

“Don’t think that you can do anything just because you’re driving a BMW.”

The woman claimed that the Singaporean driver then started to get physical and spat on his boyfriend, to which the latter suggested resolving the matter at the police station. The Singaporean man, however, was not happy and started to kick their car, causing a dent on the body of the car.

The woman’s boyfriend stayed calm and did not react physically as he knew it would create more trouble, so he just told the Singaporean driver,

“If something is wrong with you, go take your medications!”

The aggressive driver then drove away.

The woman also said that her boyfriend and she had lodged a police report, in the hope that the other driver would compensate them for the damage.
