When traveling abroad, it’s easy and common for us to be fascinated by the things and places we see there. Now, to change the perspective a little, have you ever wondered about the kind of feelings that foreigners get when visiting Malaysia?

In a recent street interview by Pocketimes, an interviewer randomly spoke to multiple foreign tourists from different countries to see what their take on Malaysia. Many of them had nothing but fond words to say about our country.

Some even agreed that Malaysia is a “mini New York!”

A tourist said that she had never expected to be REALLY amazed by Malaysia.

“I love this place. It looks like Dubai and New York to me.”

Another pair of tourists also praised Malaysia for its cleanliness and it reminded them of New York, saying “It’s modern and developed.”

Communication is 1 of the most important things to make your travel easier, and a tourist from the United States of America admitted that he was shocked to see many Malaysians are able to speak fluent English.

‘Everyone speaks fluent English here. That’s great!”

Another tourist from the UK said that not many people from her country are aware of Malaysia and she didn’t know what to expect before coming here. However, it didn’t take long for her to be stunned by our country, and she’s willing to be a permanent resident here!

“I love the food here. I went to Malacca last week and I loved it.”

There is just too much for us to list down all the good things here, so you can watch the full street interview below.

Do you agree with their take on Malaysia? As a Malaysian yourself, what do you love about the country?
