Most of us would know that to apply for an internship anywhere, several documents would be needed including a resume, cover letter, and/or a reference letter from your university. And of course, every internship applicant would try their best to make their resume and application as attractive as possible to stand out from the rest.
But we have to admit now that sometimes simplicity can get your that internship. As in this case, that was shared by a local graphic design company. In a screenshot of an email that was published by KF Design 黑月亮脸设计 on their Facebook page, it was an email sent by an applicant asking for an internship at their company.
On the post, KF Design said that it was the “BEST” resume they ever received (perhaps the most minimalistic one).
The contents of the email by the applicant was extremely simplified with no resumes or other documents attached. The applicant basically stated their name and college and said,
“i want to become your intern. thanks”
What a way to catch your prospective boss’s attention huh.
In the caption of the post, KF Design wrote,
“#够直接我喜欢 (straightforward enough, I like)”
“#果然有性格 (really has a strong character)”
But it didn’t end there. Soon after KF Designs shared the post, the applicant actually commented on their post asking the to reply to his application soon.
“please reply asap thanks”
The post has since garnered plenty of attention from netizens. Some even shared their own hilarious encounters with interns.
