Recently, the nation was shocked by the vandalism on the mural of the Covid-19 heroes. Such fantastic paintings, yet there are some who seek pleasure in destroying the works of others. This is why we can’t have nice things.

But worry not! Because Suhaimi Ali has revealed another completed mural dedicated to the frontliners located in Kota Damansara, on a wall outside Makan Heritage. This time, instead of drawing portraits of the main leads, he put his focus on several other important characters like policemen, food delivery riders, medical personnel, Bomba, RELA and of course, Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. A waving Malaysian flag was painted as the background, glorifying the contribution made by these heroes.

Suhaimi started sharing his new draft and idea on his social media on 13th July. The magnificent painting was impressively completed in a week.

As soon as pictures of this new mural began circulating online, many netizens have voiced out their concerns, warning people to not have any thoughts of repeating the same incident. Some insisted to put up CCTV cameras around the area.

“Put electric fences around the building. People cannot enter and vandalise the mural.”
