Looking to experience luxury without breaking the bank? Well, this might be your shot!

The Johor Darul Ta’zim Football Club, a.k.a JDT, a.k.a the JOHOR Southern Tigers, are now offering tours around the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in a freaking Hummer limousine. And the best part, the tour only costs RM30.

They took to their official Facebook page to announce the new activity!

They wrote, “JDT HUMMER TOUR AT SULTAN IBRAHIM STADIUM. The Sultan Ibrahim Stadium JDT Hummer Tour operates every Friday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm. Priced at RM30, tickets are available at the ticketing counter at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.”

Based on a report by Kosmo, the Head of the JDT Football Club Commercial Unit, Kevin Ramalingam shared that the Hummer Tour is only 1 of the new attractions for visitors at JDT’s ‘home’ starting this week.

Along with the tour, they’ve also launched a fast food restaurant, Woodfire Burger.

“Woodfire and the Hummer Tour are the first attractions, after this more interesting restaurants will be opened,”

“Actually, there are many interesting programs that we have planned but cannot implement due to the many restrictions, so they had to be postponed first. So, starting 1 April (today), many will be opened and hopefully in the next 3 months, many more attractions will be introduced,” he said.

This is in line with the wishes of Tunku Mahkota Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, who wants the state-of-the-art stadium to be the focus of the public as the Covid-19 SOPs are relaxed and the country enters the endemic phase.

Kevin added that he hopes all the plans made by JDT to make the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium into an attraction for visitors will run smoothly.

“For this initial stage, the JDT Hummer Tour will operate every Friday to Sunday, from 9am to 6pm. If it gets an overwhelming response, maybe this service will be held on a daily basis with the opportunity to visit the stadium,” he explained.
