For local gamers out there, there are only a couple of stores where they purchase their games.

Sadly, one of those places have been compromised.

Impulse Gaming Johor Bahru HQ recently took to their Facebook page to announce that their website has been hacked, and that customer information and emails have been leaked.

They wrote, “Dear customers, we are sorry to inform that our official website at www.impulse.com.my was compromised this morning. The perpetrator has gotten hold of our customer details such as name and email address. We are working now to rectify the issue with our web developer and web host.”

“Until then, our website will not be accessible. Please ignore emails that is purportedly from Impulse Gaming at this time. Do be assured that your payment details and data are safe as it’s handled by a third party payment gateway. Once again, we sincerely apologise for the inconveniences caused.”

Customers have since shared their concerns and have ultimately decided that they prefer to purchase from Impulse Gaming’s Shopee page
