Desperate Seremban Dad Seeks Help to Find ‘Wheat-Coloured’ Bride for His 47yo Son

Not everyone ends up meeting their soulmates or their partners in their 20s. In fact, going into your 30s and 40s without a spouse has become a norm for millennials.

But you know who has a problem with that? Their parents.

The serembanpage TikTok page recently shared a message they received from a father, requesting for them to help him find a wife for his single, 47-year-old son. He also shared his specifications for the wife, which baffled the minds of many.

The father wrote, “Looking for a bride (who is) 30-year-old to 40-years-old plus for my son, Rajesh, (who is) single, never married, 47-years-old, (and is a) well-to-do businessman.”

“Looking for a Hindu bride. (From a) poor family, need not be a graduate, homely, wheat-coloured, well-mannered.”

Wait, wheat, what?

While we’ve seen people taking to social media to search for their potential spouses, we’ve never encountered someone asking for a ‘wheat-coloured’ person. And Malaysians feel the same.

You can check out their post here.

Do you think the father is going to manage to find a wheat-coloured woman for his son? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
