When the Movement Control Order was announced, hundreds of Malaysian chose to balik kampung despite being advised not to. After 35 Days in MCO, many of them have expressed their desires to return home mainly to Kuala Lumpur.

To cope with this, Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob told in his press conference today that those who want to return to their urban areas can now send in their applications to the nearest police station beginning April 25th.

You can do by sending your online applications in the Gerak Malaysia app. Alternatively, you can also submit a report at the nearest police station but make sure to make a phone call appointment first to avoid overcrowding the police station.

What do you think of this move by the Defence Ministry? Let us know in the comments section!
