Canadian Rock Band, Sum 41 is Set to Perform in KL on March 5, 2024 Before Their Disbandment

With more and more shows scheduled for this year in Malaysia, concertgoers, especially those born in the 90s will be excited for this one. Fellow Malaysians, Canadian rock band Sum 41 will be coming to KL for a show this year!

The band will be performing in Mega Star Arena KL on March 5, 2024, for their final world tour – Sum 41: Tour of the Setting Sum.

In an Instagram post, Sum 41 announced the disbandment. While the news has upset a lot of hardcore fans around the world, the end of their journey will not happen before they complete their tour dates in 2024. The news was also shared with the announcement of their new and final album, titled Heaven :x: Hell, which is scheduled for a released on March 29 this year.

 “Sum 41 will be disbanding. We will complete all upcoming tour dates this year and eagerly anticipate releasing our final album ‘Heaven :x: Hell‘, along with a worldwide headlining tour to celebrate.”

This will be the end of an era for those who grew up with their music, and it’s perhaps the best time to blast “Pieces”, “In Too Deep”, or any songs of them that you fancy.

According to a press release by Hitman Solutions, the organizer of Sum 41’s upcoming show in KL, Heaven :x: Hell will capture the duality of the band. As a token of appreciation for their fans, the band will embark on this journey of their final global tour, which they see as the peak of their career.

Hold your horses! Tickets are not ready for sale yet, but they will be available on 17th January 2024 at noon.

Three main zones are available: Cat 1 – VIP Seating (RM349), Cat 2 – Normal Seating (RM299), and Rockzone – Free Standing (RM249).

Sum 41 was previously in Malaysia back in 2012 for their tour – Pain For Pleasure.
