In today’s Budget 2025 presentation (October 18) by Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Parliament, he announced that RM40 billion will be provided as loan facilities as well as business financing guarantees under Government agencies.
This includes:
- RM3.2 billion in micro-sized loans will be made available by TEKUN and BSN to help small business vendors including the disabled community, Chinese, Indian and Bumiputera communities.
- RM6.4 billion in funding by Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad to support the infrastructure development sector, digitisation, tourism, logistics and transportation, and energy sectors for renewals and transitions.
