Ambulance Stuck in Traffic in Melaka as Police Allegedly Blocked Road to Give Way to Buses Carrying VIPs

A video recently went viral online, showing an ambulance stuck in traffic after traffic police allegedly blocked the road to allow buses carrying VIPs to pass.

According to a report by China Press, this incident took place near the Melaka Hospital in Melaka.

The report added that the authorities have yet to release a statement addressing the incident.

 

A video of the incident went viral

The video, shared on the 胡斐 Facebook page, was taken from the perspective of a netizen stuck in the same traffic as the ambulance and shows a traffic police officer’s motorcycle in the middle of the traffic light intersection.

Despite the fact that the traffic light was green, the lane with the ambulance experienced a standstill, allegedly due to the traffic police officer intervening to give way to buses carrying VIPs.
