When we think of public restrooms, the sight and the stench “magically” comes to us and unfortunately, that is because many Malaysians don’t do a good job in maintaining the cleanliness.

Sure, we have the janitors to clean up the mess that the public leaves in the public toilet but we cannot solely rely on them to keep the toilet clean. Regardless, an “akka” cleaner at a gas station recently went viral on social media for her job well done. On her Facebook account, a Malaysian woman, Arny shared her experience and surprise to see the outstanding cleanliness of a public toilet at a gas station.

Coincidentally, the “akka” cleaner was at the scene to clean up the remaining parts of the washroom. Arny did not praise the cleaner solely for the well-maintained hygiene but also how polite she was.

“Wow, this toilet is so clean!” Arny said, to which the “akka” cleaner smiled and said thank you.

Arny wanted to reward the cleaner for doing a good job and keeping the toilet clean, so she asked if there was any platform available to give her a high rating. Unfortunately, there wasn’t but the “akka” cleaner had a special request if Arny wanted to reward her – make her go viral.

“She’s still on probation and has yet to be confirmed for her job,” Arny said in her Facebook post.

With the hope that the “akka” cleaner will be confirmed for her job so that she can keep the toilet clean, Arny decided to fulfill her request and spread the word.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Arny said that she met the kind “akka” cleaner Shell gas station in RnR Tapah, Perak, not far from Ipoh. She also said that she’s hoping the post to go viral with more positivity.

The viral “akka” cleaner also demonstrated how she likes her job without actually saying she likes her job. While we will always have cleaners to keep the toilet clean, keep in mind that it is our responsibilities to maintain the cleanliness of the facility for everyone’s convenience.
