Aidilfitri Open House With PMX Will be Held in 3 States, But Not at His Residence This Year

For the first time, the Madani Malaysia Open House with the Prime Minister, in conjunction with the 2023 Aidilfitri celebration will be held in 3 states, namely Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu.

According to a report by Astro Awani, the Prime Minister’s Department (JPM) also shared that Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) will not be holding an Open House in conjunction with the 2023 Aidilfitri celebration on Syawal 1 1444H at his official resident at Kompleks Seri Perdana, Putrajaya.

The program organised by JPM through the Performance Leap Coordination Unit (PACU) as the main coordinator will be held in Kedah on April 29 (Saturday), Kelantan on May 12 (Friday) and Terengganu on May 13 (Saturday).

“The implementation of the program is in collaboration with the state government as the host, in addition to the lead ministry also being appointed to assist in the implementation of the program.”

“This program will be attended by the Prime Minister as the main invited guest to entertain the various layers of the people who will visit the event. The Menteri Besar or Chief Minister will also be invited in addition to members of the federal cabinet,” JPM said.

 

The program in Kedah was raised as a national status program with the target attendance of 25,000 visitors, while the target in other states are 15,000 people at each location.

In Kedah, the program will take place at Hotel Raia, Alor Setar from 10am to 2pm, with the Ministry of Home Affairs as the lead ministry.

In Kelantan, the program will be held at the grounds of the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium from 7pm to 10:30pm, with the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change as the lead ministry.

And in Terengganu, the program will be held at the Dewan Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, UNISZA from 7pm to 10:30pm, with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living as the lead Ministry.

The Prime Minister is also expected to attend 3 Aidilfitri open house events held by the respective State Governments in Selangor, Penang and Negeri Sembilan.
