Agrobank Sungai Buloh Staff Tests Positive, Branch Closed For Cleaning Procedures

Another Covid-19 case has popped up, this time in Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

As according to the Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS Facebook page, a staff member of the Agrobank branch in Sungai Buloh has apparently contracted the Covid-19 virus, prompting the bank to close for sanitising procedures.

They wrote, “An Agrobank Sungai Buloh branch staff member has been confirmed positive with Covid-19. The bank is closed from today until further notice. The bank staff has been instructed to undergo the 14-day quarantine and a swab test.”

The bank released a statement informing its patrons that the branch, including the self-service terminals, are currently closed, and that they can continue their banking activities via the hotline or online banking.

“The intense cleaning process is being carried out for the sake of our customers and our staff’s well-beings. Agrobank is working closely with relevant Health Department staff members to ensure that cleanliness and safety protocols are adhered to,” they added.

We genuinely hope that no one was infected during that time and that everyone follows the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set in place by the authorities to ensure that the Covid-19 virus is eradicated from our shores.
