As reported by the Thai-based publication Bangkok Post, the male teacher in Uthai Thani province in northern Thailand was fired for posting inappropriate videos of himself at the well-known school.

A spokesperson for the Thai Education Ministry, Siripong Angkhasakulkiat, said yesterday (21 May) that the teacher, whose name was not made public, was expelled after a fair investigation over two months.

The Thai Civil Service and Educational Personnel Commission determined that the man’s actions severely frightened students.

In video clips that went viral, the teacher can be seen wearing a khaki uniform before undressing inside a classroom. Moreover, he wore the Batman mask, a chain around his neck and an object hanging from his genitals.

The videos got worse, as the teacher filmed himself in a school corridor and along a roadside pavement while pretending to urinate like a dog.

Two teachers who reported the male teacher’s behaviour were rewarded with salary increases

Besides that, the Thai Education Ministry spokesperson revealed that the Office of the Basic Education Commission has also awarded salary increases to two teachers who reported the male teacher’s inappropriate behaviour.

Mr Siripong added that the reward was also for the two teachers protecting their students.
