Honesty is indeed the best policy!

This 7-year-old girl has inspired us all with her values and integrity when she found an RM1 note on the floor at Sunway Pyramid and decided to do the right thing by giving it back.

The little girl headed to the mall’s Concierge Counter to hand over the RM1 note in hopes that the staff would help her return the money to its rightful owner.

The staff at the mall were deeply moved by her good deed and took to their Facebook page to share the heartwarming story with everyone.

“At 1.30pm, a 7-year-old girl came to our Concierge Counter to hand over an RM1 note she found on the floor in the mall. She insisted to hand over the RM1 hoping that we would be able to return it to the rightful owner. Her honesty and integrity have touched Lion’s heart!” the post read.

To show her their appreciation for her honesty, they rewarded her (and her younger brother too) with some activity books and colouring sets!

“In appreciation of her good deed, Lion’s friends gifted her and her brother with activity books and colouring sets. Thank you, little one, for your kindness at such a young age!” they added in their post.

Netizens applauded the little girl by flooding the comments section with praises. Some even credited the little girl’s parents for raising and educating her the right way. They indeed should be proud!

The post has since garnered over 2,100 likes and 85 shares.
