It all started when the little boy was playing by himself.

A witness, 51-year-old Che Hasmani Che Mat shared that, at about 2pm on Friday, the boy was playing alone in front of his home.

“The monkeys come by here every day and there are a lot of them, when they come they’ll attack in a group, but up until this point, they would come and go but have never attacked people, they would only attack food and when they would come, there would be about 30 of them,” they shared.

“When the incident happened, she (the boy’s mother) called us. She was carrying her son after wrapping him in clothes. She told me to hurry up, that Harith was bitten by monkeys and that there were many injuries,” she explained.

Meanwhile, a report in regards to this incident has been made to Perhilitan and the residents of the area are waiting for action to be taken.
