4yo Girl Falls To Death From 29th Floor of Condominium in Jalan Ipoh

A four-year-old girl died after falling from the 29th floor of a condominium in Jalan Ipoh, yesterday (16 November).

According to Harian Metro, Sentul District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Beh Eng Lai said the police received information of the incident at 2.41pm.

“A police team from Jinjang Police Station went to the location. Based on the initial investigation, the victim was left alone unattended at home. The house was locked,” he said.

“The victim’s father is said to have gone out to buy goods and when he returned home, he found that his son was missing before asking for help from the management to find the victim,” he added.

“The victim was found by one of the management staff at the eighth-floor corridor area lifeless.”

Eng Lai said the management called an ambulance from Selayang Hospital and the victim was confirmed dead. An inspection at the scene found that the victim’s room window was open and a chair was by the window which did not have any grille.

“The victim’s body was sent to the hospital for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Investigations at the location found no criminal elements were found and the case was classified as sudden death,” he said.
