A young man was injured and stabbed with a machete at the Kesedar Paloh 1 Land Development Plan (RKT) on 27 December, reports Harian Metro.
The 30-year-old victim sustained stab wounds to the middle of the head, as well as light injuries on his legs and his back. The incident took place at 1.30pm and is believed to be due to revenge.
Acting District Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent Sik Choon Foo said that the victim was approached by a 35-year-old man and that both men are believed to have known each other prior to this incident.
The suspect was arrested at his house in Pondok Hidayah 1, Kampung Chawah, Tanah Merah, Kelantan.
The victim has since been sent to Chiku 3 Health Clinic for further treatment and is currently in a stable condition.
The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code.
