Ahh, Damansara Uptown — everyone’s favourite hangout spot. Klang Valley dwellers know that despite its insane parking and traffic, Damansara Uptown is definitely the place where all the best restaurants are located.
That’s why we decided to compile a list of some of the restaurants in the area we think you guys should definitely try the next time you drop by, if you’re completely out of ideas on where to hang out next!
1. Departure Lounge
If you’re into a travel-themed restaurant that serves great breakfast and pasta, Departure Lounge is definitely the place to check out!
We definitely recommend their “Do It My Way” breakfast platter, because it’s totally customisable and you can choose between 3, 5 or 7 breakfast items for pretty decent prices!
If you’re in the mood for a heavy main course to split among two people, Departure Lounge also offers their Traveller’s Platter, which consists of grilled chicken, fried dory fish, spicy aglio olio pasta, fried calamari, soup, fries, AND a salad all in one huge platter!

If you haven’t gone to Fat Spoon yet, you should definitely try out their signature Claypot Lou Shu Fun, mixed in with their homemade minced chicken sauce and a raw egg for a little more flavour.
Their other specialty, the Ulam Spaghettini, is another must-try. Made up of spaghetti tossed in curry sauce, ulam herbs and minced chicken, this dish is definitely on our favourites list!

Fancy a good ice cream or fried chicken with waffles? Well, BingSu Cafe is the perfect place for both of those things!
We definitely recommend their Black Sesame Bingsu, but they also have pretty more out-there flavours like Mango and Durian, if you feel like taking a walk on the wild side!
Their Korean Fried Chicken is also another favourite, not forgetting to mention their Yangneom Chicken Waffle if you’re the kind who loves to eat chicken with waffles. Agh, we’re getting hungry!
